A fund of £1,000,000, with £225,000 to the winner and £12,500 for going out in the first round. Every round is below, along with what winning each match actually adds.

The last column is the one players actually think about: what the match in front of them is worth. Getting to winner rather than going out the round before is the biggest single jump of the tournament, at +£100,000.
How much does the winner of the World Matchplay get?
£225,000, which is 22.5% of the whole fund. The runner-up takes £125,000, so the final alone is worth £100,000 to whoever wins it.
Every one of the 32 players in the draw is paid something: the 16 who lose in the first round still take £12,500 each, which is £200,000 of the fund between them.

- The top 16 of the PDC Order of Merit.
- The top 16 of the one-year Pro Tour rankings who are not already in.
