How to play Dartle
Guess the mystery darts player in 8 goes. Any of the 40 players in the PDC Order of Merit top 40 can be the answer, and any of them can be guessed.
- Green means that fact matches the mystery player exactly.
- Amber means you are close: within five ranking places, within two majors, within two years, or within a quarter of their prize money.
- An arrow points the way you need to go. On the world rank it points along the rankings, so a down arrow means the mystery player is further down the list than your guess: a worse ranking, a bigger number. On majors, last won and prize money it points at the value, so up means more.
- Majors counts the televised majors on this site's winners rolls, which go back about ten years. It is not a career total, so a player who was winning in 2005 will show fewer than they really have.
- Prize money is the two-year ranking money that decides the Order of Merit, not career earnings.
Everything the game compares comes from the same data as our world rankings and player pages, so nothing in the puzzle can contradict what the rest of the site says.
When does the next Dartle come out?
A new puzzle every day at midnight UK time, and everyone gets the same player. Your streak is kept in your own browser, so it survives a refresh but will not follow you to another device. There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to pay.
