T17 18 D16. That is the standard 3-dart finish for 101: treble 17, then single 18, then double 16.

101 can be finished 207 different ways. This is the one most players throw.

If you miss the first dart

Hit single 17 instead of the treble and you are left on 84 with 2 darts in hand. That is still a finish: T20 D12 or T18 D15 or T16 D18.
